Anti-Spam Policy

Last updated 18 October 2026

CapiMail is a consent-based email platform. We do not permit spam of any kind. This policy explains what we require from senders and how we enforce it so that recipients trust the mail that leaves our infrastructure.

What counts as consent

Marketing email may only go to a recipient who took a clear, affirmative action to opt in, for a purpose they would reasonably expect. Pre-checked boxes, inactivity, a prior purchase alone, or the presence of an address on a list are not consent. You must be able to show, for each contact, when and how consent was given; CapiMail records this as an append-only consent history.

Every marketing message must

  • identify the sender truthfully and use a verified sending domain;
  • carry a working one-click unsubscribe and an unsubscribe link in the body;
  • include a valid physical postal address;
  • honor an unsubscribe promptly and permanently.

Suppression is permanent

An unsubscribe, a spam complaint, or a hard bounce immediately adds the address to your organization’s suppression list. Suppressed addresses are excluded before a campaign is built and rechecked again right before each send. You cannot remove a complaint-based suppression by re-importing a contact.

How we protect the ecosystem

  • New senders ramp up volume gradually; daily limits grow as an account proves clean delivery.
  • A campaign that exceeds safe complaint or hard-bounce thresholds is paused automatically.
  • Account-wide reputation is monitored; a sustained breach pauses marketing sending platform-wide.
  • CapiMail can block a domain, suspend an organization, or stop all sending in an emergency.

Consequences of violations

Sending spam through CapiMail is grounds for immediate suspension and, for repeat or severe violations, termination. We cooperate with mailbox providers and reporting networks to keep our sending reputation clean for every customer.

This policy complements our Acceptable Use Policy.
